"Being raised by parents who loved traveling the world influenced me to be an outgoing person who loves to push herself to go out of her comfort zone. Growing up in a small city in the Netherlands called Delft allowed me to spread my wings in multiple cities such as Amsterdam and Rotterdam. I am currently studying Communication and Multimedia Design at the University of Applied Sciences of Amsterdam. During my studies I found myself being a person who would like to learn from a wider perspective rather than focusing on one route. This way I keep my options open as I go my way growing into a young designer. In my free time, I spend most of my time hanging out with my friends, dancing, going to the gym, and working. It is very important to me to allow myself to have some time for myself, so I keep my mind fresh for new innovative projects. I am aiming to continue my studies and career outside of the Netherlands. Spending 4 months in Toronto as an Exchange student made me realize that working in an international setting motivates me the most and gives me the most opportunities in life.
This website is representative of what I have learned and created thus far. I will work hard and keep an open mind to learn new techniques, tools, and skills to improve my designs and I am looking forward to opportunities that would prep me to work in the work field.
